Joanna: As a student of business English major, I dream to be a businesswoman and start my own business in the future. However, I think I’d better start with working in some companies and learn how to manage business first upon my graduation.

Stephan: It seems that you have already had the target job category.

Joanna: Yes, I’m now applying for the position of export clerk in some multinational companies, and I hope I can get the interview opportunities from these companies.

Stephan: But I have heard that it’s a common thing for export clerks to work overtime. Have you thought about that?

Joanna: I understand what you mean. I don’t expect it to be a nine-five job. In this job I can make full use of the knowledge learned from my major, and I also believe that working in the multinational companies could be very challenging.

Stephan: Wish you good luck.

Joanna: Thank you. By the way, what would you take into consideration in looking for a job?

Stephan: I will consider my interest first. As you know, without interest in a job, we will probably never see it through.

Joanna: I really agree with you.

Stephan: At the same time I hope my future job will enable me to learn something and get some experience, and my boss would appreciate me and give me more chances to try.

Joanna: That sounds great. Hope we both can find our ideal jobs.
