Eason: Todd, it’s a pleasure that both of us have been making effort in promoting our mutual corporation. If everything goes on as planned and expected, that would be our first project in China.

Todd: You’re right. And nothing could be done without the close cooperation between us. Your company has carried out projects in quite a few countries and I know you’re an experienced project manager. So, Eason what other places have you stayed for business purposes?

Eason: Well, first at all ,thank you for your confidence in me and my company .As for me, I once stayed in France, then in India and I now live in Japan. I’ve been to Paris on a couple of occasions. My company established a branch there and I once travelled a few times from the headquarters in Washington D.C., the capital of the US to the Paris branch.

Todd: Why did you stay in India? Does your company also have a branch there?

Eason: No, not a branch. Actually our company outsourced our call center in New Delhi, the capital of India and I was assigned to train the newly-recruited customer service staff there. Labor cost is much lower than in the US, you know. I love the fact that people there are hardworking and they speak very good English.

Todd: Sure, where do you stay now in Japan?

Eason: Now I live in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. It’s really a big city, just like New York City, you know, there are too many people to deal with. Our company is considering expanding its business into Japan and I am doing the market survey and I am also seeking for potential business partners in market of Japan. Todd, what countries did you go to for business?

Todd: Oh, I once went to Madrid, the capital of Spain , stayed there for about a week. I went there to attend an international trade fair, to promote our company’s products and attract new buyers. Well, by that time it was really, really hot in Madrid. At about that time, it was about 40-45 degrees Celsius.

Eason: Oh my God! That must have been the hottest part of the year .

Todd: Yes, I think so. What’s your plan for your next business trip when you go back?

Eason: Well, I plan to go to Australia and I’ll be there for about ten days. The first city I will visit is Sydney, the largest city in Australia and then Canberra, the capital city. Well I’ve got several regular customers there, important ones, you know, I’ll visit them to maintain our long-term relationships.

Todd: That’s great! I can see that your company’s business is prospering.

Eason: Thank you so much. Anyway, you’re always my very important, the most important client, I can say that, we really hope that we could do more projects with you here in China.

Todd: Sure, for our mutual benefit!
