Receptionist: Good morning, may I help you?

Mr. Lockwood: Good morning. I’m Johnson Lockwood from Anderson and Swanson. I would like to see Mr. White.

Receptionist: Do you have an appointment?

Mr. Lockwood: Yes, he knows I’m coming. Our meeting is set for 2 o’clock.

Receptionist: OK, I’ll see if he is in. (makes a phone to check....a second later hangs up the phone) Yeah, Mr. White is waiting for you, please come with me.

Mr. Lockwood: Sure.

(They go to Mr. white’s office.)

Mr. Lockwood: Thank you. Hi.

Mr. White: Hello, Mr. Lockwood, nice to meet you!

Mr. Lockwood: It’s nice to meet you too, Mr. White!

Mr. White: Have a seat.

Mr. Lockwood: Thank you.

Receptionist: Would you like something to drink? Some tea or coffee?

Mr. Lockwood: Oh, yes. Coffee please.

Receptionist: Would you like it with milk?

Mr. Lockwood: No, thank you, black, and without sugar, thanks.

Mr. White: So then, how was your journey?

Mr. Lockwood: Oh, it was OK. It was a kind of a bumpy flight, but we arrived on time.

Mr. White: Good. Good. And you managed to find us OK?

Mr. Lockwood: Yeah, sure, I got a taxi from the airport—it took only about half an hour.

Mr. White: Good.

Receptionist: Here is your coffee, Mr. Lockwood.

Mr. Lockwood: Thank you so much.

 (Ms Morris Trigg, an assistant of Mr. White, came into the office.)

Mr. White: Morris, come on in. Have a seat. Morris, I’d like to introduce you to Mr. Lockwood. He is the sales manager at Anderson and Swanson Association. Mr. Lockwood, this is my assistant, Morris Trigg. She is in charge of supplier contact via email and phone.

Mr. Lockwood: It’s very nice to meet you.

Ms. Trigg: Nice to meet you, Mr. Lockwood! Here is my calling card.

Mr. Lockwood: Oh, thank you.

Ms. Trigg: I believe we’ve already had some contact over email, but I live always looked forward to meeting you.

Mr. Lockwood: Indeed and thank you so much. We’ve exchanged some emails already. And I’ve been always looking forward to this trip. Thank you so much for inviting me to Singapore.
